AOFF Scholars Bag Latin Honors

Four scholars from the Don Antonio O. Floirendo, Sr. Foundation (AOFF) recently earned their Bachelor’s degrees with Latin honors in their commencement exercises this April 2019.

Ed Ivan M. Bardoquillo, a BS Chemistry graduate, and Jarisse Nicole T. Callos, a BS Accountancy graduate, both earned summa cum laude distinctions, while Jessa Mae P. Carillo, a BS Education – major in English graduate finished cum laude at the Ateneo De Davao University. Franklin C. Caballes Jr. finished his course of BS Marine Transportation from Davao Merchant Marine Academy College of Southern Philippines with a cum laude honor.

“I am overwhelmed with the positive results the scholars of the AOF Foundation have manifested. Their accomplishments are also achievements of the foundation. It is our pleasure to extend help and create more opportunities for the students in Mindanao.” said Mr. Russell U. Barrizo, the Senior Manager of the AOFF.

The Don Antonio O. Floirendo, Sr. Foundation (AOFF) is a non-stock and non-profit organization established to bring community support services and initiate participatory community building to improve lives. The foundation provides communities assistance in various fields through its educational, healthcare, livelihood, environmental, and relief operation and rehabilitation programs.

744 examinees took the qualifying examination for the AOFF Scholarship Program. As of 2018, there are 272 scholars currently enrolled in the program.

The foundation is now accepting student applicants for the school year 2020-2021. Interested students may submit their requirements on or before August 31, 2019. The qualifying examination will be on November 20, 2019. Incoming and enrolled senior high school and college students are welcome to apply.
