Duterte-CMO beats IBP anew

Team Duterte-CMO continued its mastery over IBP with a 83-74 win in Game 13 of their basketball friendly series on Friday at the Genesis 88 Gym.

Team Duterte-CMO’s back up role players shone bright good enough to provide the needed boost to Secretary Christopher “Bong” Go’s fiery performance and help the team stay undefeated in their one-on-one encounter with the Legal Eagles.

The victory widened Team Duterte-CMO’s lead to 11-0. Two games ended in a draw, Game 7 and 10.

Go, the special assistant to President Rodrigo Duterte who average more than 40 points per game, finished the game with 30 baskets accounting six three pointers.

His quarter-backing plays and acting as decoy enaled the role players to attack the basket that yielded for Team Duterte.

IBP fell short once again on its quest to end the losing streak.

The winless IBP suffered through the absence some of its key players.

Ongkiko, Carpio and Baguio stepped up for IBP with 14 and 12 points each in that order.

Team Duterte-CMO cruised to its threebgame winning streak after the thrilling Game 10 draw.
