Arlan Arbois and veteran Judelyn Miranda ruled the colorful fifth edition of The Royal Mandaya Hotel Hunat Dabaw Color-Foam Fun Run on Sunday.
Arbois and Miranda went wire to wire in the premier 10-Kilometer class to take the men’s and women’s titles, respectively.
Hunat Dabaw5 dubbed as “Run to Rehab Marawi City” is the highlight of The Royal Mandaya Hotel’s 19th anniversary. This year’s charity run is backed up by GMA Kapuso Foundation and part of its proceeds go to the latter’s operations to help rehabilitate Marawi City.
Michael Echalico took the 5K men’s title while Diana Mae Memoracion topped the women’s side. In the 3K class, Daryl Mark Daban won the men’s title while Sharon Gay Marcojos ruled the women’s race.
Special awards went to youngest runners Kalee Banzon, Bastianne Banzon, Andy Ramirez, Dave Camuta, and Rachel Andrea Anino.
TRMH President Glenn Y. Escandor and general manager Benjie Banzon led the race’s participants. Also present were members of the Escandor family. Gracing the event were Luz Annalee Escudero-Catibog, GMA Kapuso Foundation, Inc. Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and GMA celebrity Bea Binene.
The race attracted around 2,700 registered runners. Asde from the winner’s prizes, the race also gave away P200,000 worth of raffle prizes.
