It’s back to the rolling layout of Rancho Palos Verdes in Cabantian for the 13th edition of the club’s signature tournament.
The annual Pomelo Tee will fire off on April 26 to April 29 at the Rancho Palos Verdes Golf and Country Club and it promises to be more exciting.
Hermie Martin is this year’s tournament chairman and he has been by far hands on at ensuring the success of the club tournament that’s also designed to raise funds for identified charity of the Rancho Palos Verdes golf club.
The four-day annual member-guest golf tournament is expected to draw 200 entries.
“We hope to make it more exciting this year so that everyone will have fun playing in this tournament,” said Martin.
Details for the prizes of the tournament as well as exciting special prizes and raffles will be announced later. The event aims to raise funds for the charitable projects of the Pomelo Tee Foundation Incorporated.
The tournament format is set over a 36-hole stroke play for team and individual categories and will be using the modified Stableford scoring system.
Because there are limited slots for the event, those who are interested to sign up are encouraged to register early by contacting Rancho Palos at (082) 2863673, Karl Moises (09177705528), Wilson Obongen (09156032302), or Erzza Abuan (09173121887).
