Davao has 2 GAB champions

Davao’s Genisis Libranza of the MP Stable and welterweight titleholder Jayar “Hitman” Inson emerged as the two champions from the city of Durians in the latest rankings released by the Games and Amusements Board (GAB).

The GAB Flyweight (112 lbs) champion Libranza, 24, who has a professional record of 15 wins against a lone defeat with 9 KO’s, is set to fight Gensan’s Jetly Purisima on August 21 at G-Mall of Davao.

In the 147 lbs-class, Inson was listed as reigning champion with a ring record of 17 wins against one defeat with 11 KO’s. Inson’s last fight, which was in the undercard of the Pacquiao win last month in Malaysia, resulted to an 8-round points win over veteran Australian Terry Tzouramanis. The 27-year old Inson has become a well-focused, experienced, skilled fighter with decent punching-power in his hands.
