FDTEI to present concert for a Cause

In celebration of its 20th Anniversary, the Foundation for Development Through Education Inc., presents a ‘Fun Raising Concert ‘on January 18, 2018 4:00pm at Marco Polo Hotel for the benefit of FDTEI’s scholarship program for cultural minorities in Mindanao.

The concert features the Philippines’ multi- awarded concert pianist, Jovianney Emmanuel Cruz, who will entertain the audience with a selection of classical music and popular works

Jovianney Emmanuel Cruz is a classical pianist from the Philippines. He has won several international piano competitions during his competing career and he is in the forefront in a revival of classical music interest in the country.

FDTEI revealed that for the past 20 years, it has provided the means for the education of 122 underprivileged yet deserving young adults coming from eight provinces in Mindanao.

On the same statement 101 scholar students graduated in 2017 and enrolled in undergraduate programs in engineering, medicine, nursing, business, accountancy and education and assisted the other graduates in reviewing for qualifying board examinations.

A statement of Paul Dominguez, FDTEI vice-president, that the scholars have found meaningful and productive employment after completing their studies.

Foundation for Development Through Education Inc., involved the scholars in community projects ranging from health, education and environmental initiatives to complete their academic training.
