NOTICE OF WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS

October 7, 8, 9 to 10, and 10, 2021

SET A – NO WATER

WHEN: Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM

WHERE: Some areas served by Dumoy Water Supply System (WSS):

J. Dela Cruz Street, Kalye Birhen, Callejona, Juan Luna Street, Domingo Ponce Street, Fatima Extension, Fatima Street, Pag-asa Street, Suazo Extension, Pioneer Street, and Sales Street

along Leon Ma. Guerrero Street (from R. Magsaysay Avenue to A. Quezon Street)

along the streets of Chavez, Damaso Suazo, and Gempesaw (from R. Magsaysay Avenue to Domingo Ponce Street)

along the streets of Lizada and Bangoy (from R. Magsaysay Avenue to M.L. Quezon Boulevard)

along A. Quezon Street (from E. Jacinto Street to Domingo Ponce Street)

REASON: Water supply has to be temporarily shut off in the affected areas to give way to the tapping of an auxiliary pipeline and boundary valve and interconnection of the District Metered Area (DMA) inlet pipeline to DCWD’s existing pipeline for the Dumoy WSS DMA Project. This project is among DCWD’s strategies to reduce non-revenue water or water loss.

SET B – LOW WATER PRESSURE TO NO WATER

WHEN: Friday, October 8, 2021, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

WHERE: All areas served by Riverside WSS:

Entire Riverside, Tugbok Proper, Tacunan, Los Amigos, Biao Guianga, Biao Escuela, Biao Cutson, Matina Biao, Balengaeng, and Ula

Some Catalunan Grande areas: Alejandra National HOA, Apo Highlands Subd., Low Cost Housing Project – Ateneo Property, Luwalhati Subd., San Miguel HOA, Santiago Villas, Sitio San Pedro, Sitio Sta. Martha, Sitio Sto. Niño Ilihan, and South Pointe Homes

REASON: Water supply has to be temporarily shut off in the affected areas to give way to the disinfection and cleaning of DCWD’s Riverside Biao Cutson reservoirs as part of DCWD’s commitment to ensure safe and drinkable water supply.

SET C – NO WATER

WHEN: From 8:00 PM of Saturday, October 9, 2021 to 8:00 AM of Sunday, October 10, 2021

Along the streets of Damaso Suazo and Sales (from R. Magsaysay Avenue to Lapu-Lapu Street)

Along the streets of Gempesaw, Lizada, and Bangoy (from R. Magsaysay Avenue to Soliman Street)

Along Sta. Ana Avenue (from J.P Laurel Avenue to Bangoy Street)

Along Monteverde Street and R. Magsaysay Avenue (from Leon Ma. Guerrero Street to Bangoy Street)

Along Soliman Street (from Gempesaw Street to Bangoy Street)

Along Davao-Bukidnon Road including Mintal Proper, Mintal Relocation, Green Meadows Phase I, III and IV, Camella Cerritos, Camella Cerritos Expansion, Don Roman Cuizon Village, Aglipay Community, Sapid Compound, SPDA Subd., Villa Constancia, Samulco Village, Sitio Cawa2x, Wellspring Village Expansion, Wellspring Highlands, Wellspring Village I, II and III, Residencia Del Rio, Granville Subd., Pag-ibig Country Homes Wellspring III, Yuhico Garden, Greenhills Subd., The Sincere, Bacanaya Compound, BRC Village, Maligaya Village, Bacalso Compound, Batalla Village and immediate environs

REASON: Water supply has to be temporarily shut off in the affected areas to give way to the tapping and installation of a gate valve to DCWD’s existing pipeline for service improvement.

Notes:
1) The would-be affected customers are advised to store water in clean and covered containers at least three days before the scheduled water service interruptions.
2) Water supply may be restored earlier if works go smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.
3) DCWD conducts flushing after service works are completed. However, once water is restored, customers are advised to open all faucets and allow water to run for at least two minutes. Do not drink tap water immediately but if needed, boil water beforehand as safety precaution.
