The surgical consultants and residents of Davao Doctors Hospital will be giving free surgical consultations for those who have undergone clinical breast and prostate examinations at its out-patient department from 8 a.m.to12 noon.on Satruday, October 17, 2009.
The free consulations will accommodate 50 patients on a first come, first served basis.
They will also give free breast ultrasound for 10 patients who have undergone clinical breast exam, and a lay forum on breast cancer will be held at 11 a.m. at the tOPD waiting area by Dr. Jed Mangaoil on the same date.
Furthermore, the department hosts will be offering a minor surgical procedure PHIC package for 10 patients with breast and soft tissue masses who underwent pre-screening at the mini-OR from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The screening process will be handled by the department secretary, Emily Legara, which started last September 22.
