Davao girl is co-author of 3 books on climate change, air pollution

Dabawenya May Antoniette Y. Ajero-De Leon is co-author of Climate Change Negotiations: Can Asia Change the Game?, a book on global warming.
This is the third book participated in by May-Ann, 33, a graduate of the University of the Philippines in Diliman and  a licensed chemist.
She finished elementary at the Ateneo de Davao Grade School  and secondary course at the Philippine Science High School-Mindanao Campus in Mintal.
Earlier, she was also co-author of Urban Air Pollution in Asian Cities: Status, Challenges and  Management, 2006 and a sort of sequel to the first book containing 19 country synthesis reports on Urban Air Quality Management in Asia.
She is likewise a contributor to a fourth book, Air Pollution and Climate Change -Two Sides of the Same Coin.
Her articles on the related topics of climate change and clean air have been published in the United Kingdom, Manila, Singapore and Sweden.
Ms De Leon works as  clean air and climate change programs manager of Clean Air Initiatives for Asian Cities, a nongovernment organization.
She is the only daughter of Edge Davao editor Antonio M. Ajero and his deceased wife, Lorna May. She is married to Gilbert “Paolo” de Leon Jr. with whom she has twin sons – Gian and Xian.
