It’s never too late to give back again. After a seven-year long rest from serving the business community, former 2002 DCCCII executive vice president, Engr. Robert C. Quinto, returns to the Davao City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. as its 2010 president, succeeding two-year outgoing president, Simeon P. Marfori II, during the election of officers held last December 8 at the Bistro Rosario, Davao City. Prior to the election of officers was the election of new trustees on December 5, 2008 at the Grand Men Seng Hotel. Outgoing trustees were Simeon P. Marfori II, Alberto M. Soriano, Napoleon M. Liloc, John Y. Gaisano, and Myrna P. Valdez. Newly proclaimed new members of the board were: (1) Engr. Robert C. Quinto (former Chamber executive vice president); re-electionist (2) Napoleon M. Liloc (former 2008 vice president for industry); (3) Ms. Lizabel Holganza (president of ICT Davao Inc.); (4) Engr. Neil A. Delos Santos (former Chamber membership committee chairman); and (5) Antonio T. Dela Cruz (former Chamber trustee). Following the election rules, last December 8 at the Bistro Rosario, the BOTs elected among themselves the 2010 DCCCII the following new set of officers: Chairman of the Board – PP Bienvenido D. Cariaga; President – Engr. Robert C. Quinto; Executive Vice President – Patrick John D. Castro; Vice President for Trade and Commerce – Dr. Ma. Lourdes G. Monteverde; Vice President for Agribusiness – PP Sofronio M. Jucutan; Vice President for Industry – Napoleon M. Liloc; Vice President for Professional & Service Ventures – Corazon Mae M. Baylon; Corporate Secretary – Atty. Enrique M.O Diola; Corporate Treasurer – Antonio T. Dela Cruz; Trustee – PP Domingo T. Duerme; Trustee – Lizabel G. Holganza; Trustee – Vicente T. Lao; Trustee – Ma. Christina B. Ramos; Trustee – Engr. Neil A. Delos Santos; Trustee – Nelia E. Tumarao.
