Globe scores plaudits in Speed Magazine 2009 Tech Newsmakers list

Leading telco Globe Telecom recently received a tribute from popular tech magazine SPEED, which cited two of Globe’s banner services among the Top 50 Tech Newsmakers of 2009.   Conferred by the magazine’s editors, the SPEED Magazine awards named affordable mobile internet the 4th  biggest newsmaker, giving props to Globe Tattoo Broadband for keeping web surfers online and connected to their favorite tweets, emails and instant messages.   In addition, the publication also gave the 7th spot on the list to the evolution of landline phones into all-around call-anywhere devices, with Globe Duo, the company’s breakthrough mobile-and-landine-in-one product, taking top honors.
