Metro outdoor events

This year’s celebration of the 73rd Araw ng Dabaw outdoor events were dominated by members of MetroLifestyle Fitness Center and Spa.
Australian Rohan Force won the triathlon event consisting of 1-kilometer swim, 30-k biking and 7-k run. Force, 41, timed 13:30 in the swim; 49:28 in the bike and finished the race with 32:09 in the run for an accumulated time of one hour 35 minutes and seven seconds, in the 40 to 44 male age group.
MetroLifestyle gym instructor and pro-athlete Christopher Eyao won the 35 to 39 age category while MetroLifestyle member Archie Reyes claimed his 2nd runner-up honors in the male age group category.
Cherryl Araneta (age category 20-24) and Ivy Joy Herrero (age category 30-34) were declared champions in the female categories. Both athletes are MetroLifestyle Fitness Instructors. Member Sue Ann Orig placed 1st runner-up in the 35-39 age group..
On the other side of the city, the Araw ng Dabaw Run 2010 started its 3k, 5k and 10k marathon at the Gaisano Mall of Davao. Senator Pia Cayetano, not only graced the event but actually joined in the run, being a fitness advocate herself. 
MetroLifestyle members Ronneth Hatchard and Co Okja finished in 6th and 10th places, respectively.
