HP Phils. forecasts increase in sales from SMBs in Davao

The notion that companies will soon be totally “paperless,” is no longer true. Gio Sabio, HP Phils. Market Development Management for Supplies, Imaging and Printing Group, said the “explosion of the digital industry” has actually increased printing demands. The more end-users have become digitally-oriented, the more contents are available, especially in the internet, and so with the hardcopies to be produced.
In the data he presented at the Waterfront Hotel, Davao City last April 8,  there was a 10-million increase in pages printed this year compared to 48 trillion pages in 2005. Printing businesses earned 134 billion dollars in 2010 alone.

SMBs accounted for 60-70% of the company’s total sales, 25-30% from the Visayas and Mindanao.
