Behind the prestige is a mission to give inspiration. This is what makes the world-renowned Loboc Children’s Choir carry on with singing songs that touch the hearts of the many, especially those who need them most. Aside from being a school-grown and a church choir, the group dedicates its music to those who have a little less hope than the many. Most of these people are in prisons, hospitals, orphanages, and homes for the aged.
This month of May, the group will sing their pieces to Breanna the Brave, Kythe Foundation, and Lay Camillian Family. Breanna has been diagnosed after birth with congenital cataract in both eyes, cleft palate, persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn (PPHN), patent foramen ovale (PFO), patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), renal artery stenosis (mild on right) and pneumonia in the right lung. Kythe Foundation and Lay Camillian Family are organizations taking care of children and teens who are cancer patients. The choir is going to perform a concert for a cause–“Voices of Hope”–on May 28-29, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., not only to give hope but to raise funds for their food, medicines and other necessities as they are the beneficiaries of the event.
Everyone is invited to join in this journey called “Voices of Hope”.
