The Davao Doctors College marked another milestone when it celebrated its 35th Foundation Anniversary, a four-day observance that began last September 21 with the theme: “Nurturing Lives for a Better Tomorrow”.
Highlights of the celebration included the grand opening of the Arts and Sciences building, Alumni Dinner for a Cause, Fellowship Dinner, Cheer Dance and Search for the Best Environmental Documentary.
Significant and fun activities were carried out during the four days of celebration. DDC’s administrators, faculty, employees, and students collaborated to come up with an array of activities participated in by the entire DDC community.
An Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration kicked off the activities the morning of the first day followed by a motorcade around the city and a clean-up drive along Malvar Street.
The DDC, through its 35 years as an institution of learning (since 1975), has exemplified resilience – reason enough for the entire DDC community to celebrate its foundation every year and spend several days of respite from work to re-energize through fun, laughter and camaraderie.
