Hedcor, Inc. and Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. of AboitizPower formally turned over the one-classroom building to Catalunan Pequeño National High School (CPNHS) last August 28.
This school building, which will accommodate students who have been attending classes in the school’s gym, was also successfully completed in cooperation with the Department of Education and the Office of the City Mayor.
“We are blessed to have Hedcor as our sole adopter. Not only the building was donated but also incentives were given like financial assistance for the students”, said CPNHS principal Evelyn Magno in an interview with GMA.
Meanwhile, city councilor Melchor Quitain expressed his confidence with Hedcor as he articulated that companies like Hedcor who contributes to the development of public schools and communities, help establish good reputation of Davao.
Catalunan Pequeño National High School is one of the host schools of the five Talomo hydropower plants owned by Hedcor, Inc.
