More than 18,000 Matinians benefited from the medical outreach program that Davao Oriental Gov. Corazon N. Malanyaon conducted in all 26 barangays of the capital town of Mati last August 26 to 30,
Children and adults were given free medical checkups and provided with medicines and vitamins.
During the five-day schedule, the governor also turned over projects she had implemented in all of Mati’s barangays.
The governor also led officials and residents in the planting of trees during her visit to the barangays.
Board members Tina Yu, Pepot Lara, Niño Uy and Dodon Linsag, along with the vice mayor, Carlo “Batman” Rabat and SB members Glenda Rabat-Gayta, Noli Balugo, Jerome Dayanghirang and Pacifico Castillones of the PCDO, assisted the governor in the Million Trees Movement of Davao Oriental.
