The pharmacy department under the dynamic leadership of Dean Adelina C. Royo, RPh, MSPharm has topped the board exam for the nth time. The January 2011 Pharmacist Licensure Examination saw San Pedro College as one of the top two performing schools in the country with a passing rate of 91% (National Passing rate 50%), and a 4th placer in the person of Dawn Emerald de los Santos (summa cum laude, Batch 2010).
The department celebrated its triumph last March 4 with a motorcade around Metro Davao and a thanksgiving Mass officiated by Fr. Larry Sabud SM. Reynaldo Umali, chairperson-PRC Board of Pharmacy, administered the oath taking. Inducting the new members of the Philippine Pharmacists Association was Dean Adelina C. Royo (VP-PPhA Mindanao). A thanksgiving dinner and company presentation rounded out the celebration.
