Computer classroom and computer equipment was donated to the Vicente Hizon Elementary School in Pampanga, Davao City from “Ang dating Daan” through its presiding minister, Bro. Eliseo F. Soriano, on his 47th year of service to God and humanity.
The project was formally turned over to the school in a ribbon cutting ceremony last April 6 witnessed by Department of Education Region 11 director Susana Teresa Estigoy and MCGI Mindanao chapter office-in-charge Bro. Dino P. Hilario, along with the department heads, teachers, students, city employees, barangay officials and city councilors.
The renovated room will be named Bro. Eliseo F. Soriano Computer Room. The project was made possible in cooperation with the UNTV and members of the Church of God International.
The Vicente Vizon Elementary School students are the first to become beneficiaries of the renovated air-condition classroom, with the 10 computer units providing basic access to information technology. Through this the school will promote more quality education services for the students and aims to be recognized as a competitive school. [PIA 11]
