Epson launches its Davao Office and Solution Center

Epson Philippines Corporation (EPC) launched last May 20 the company’s Davao Office and Solution Center, a key step in its regional expansion plans.
The office houses an Epson Solution Center to showcase the leading Japanese company’s comprehensive portfolio of world-class digital imaging printers, projectors, large format printers, scanners and point-of-sales printers that can serve the growing demands of customers and the corporate sector not only in Davao, but the whole Mindanao, as  well.
The new Epson office is located at the 2nd Floor, Metrolifestyle Business Center, F. Torres cor. E Jacinto streets, Davao City, right at the center of the city’s growing commercial district.
During the launch, EPC country manager Hideto Nakamura pointed out the vast potential of Davao to further develop into one of the Philippines’ most important centers of economy and commerce, which is a key factor in Epson’s decision to make it the company’s hub of operations for the Mindanao area.
“In the same way that Epson Philippines was able to successfully implement our goals in more than 10 years in the country, we are confident to do the same locally, and make Davao as the center point for the whole of Mindanao Island,” Nakamura said in his welcome speech.
The launch of the Epson Davao Office and Solution Center is another important development in Epson Philippines’ territorial expansion in the country.
“Epson believes that closer customer engagement entails being responsive to the different needs and requirements of every customer, city, province or region. The company’s approach in the past few years is to offer customized solutions to address the requirements of customers and businesses,” explained Ed Bonoan, EPC senior general manager and head for sales.
“Davao City is the most valuable asset in the Mindanao region. Among Asian cities, Davao has maintained its competitive position in attracting investments and in penetrating new foreign markets owing to its resilient exports base, peaceful business climate, better  quality of life and a rich pool of skilled workforce,” he said.
