ANFLOCOR successfully launched its yearly team building activity, this time, for its managers, superintendents and supervisors at Loleng’s Mountain Spring Resort last August 5-6, 2011.
Dubbed as “Breaking barriers, connecting people,” the activity was initiated to promote camaraderie and unity, building one spirit among ANFLOCOR employees.
About 23 managers, coming from DAVCO, TADECO and the Industrial Group, participated in the activity. They were randomly grouped into four teams namely: Green sharks, Red horse, Blue runners and Team P-Noy.
As the participants were greeted with a breath of fresh air at the resort, lots of exciting and challenging games also awaited them.
To prepare themselves for the challenge course, each team loosened up in a dance number and cheerfully chanted and shouted for their group yells.
The ‘Amazing Race’ game and other team building activities emphasized the corporate values like working together as a team to achieve the group’s objective.
Likewise, everybody spent the whole day doing its best to get the most number of points and spilled their corporate goals in a way that was witty and fun.
The second batch, composed of company superintendents, enjoyed the same activity and burnt some energy last August 8-9 at the same place.
Meanwhile, the third and fourth batches are set to kick off for the company supervisors this coming August 15-16 and August 17-18 respectively. The last batch, which will be for the managers of the different DAMOSA-based affiliates, is scheduled to outset on August 26-27.
The activity was a day spent not just for fun but to be re-acquainted with the ANFLOCOR’s objectives; revisiting the vision, mission and values while establishing strong ties between and among the employees. [C.P. Naig]
