Team Recognised for 2018 Blackboard Catalyst Award for Optimising the Student Experience
SINGAPORE – October 9-10, 2018 – Engr. Dodjie S. Maestrecampo, Prof. Abigail Joy Rodelas-Angelia, Asst. Prof. Denie Forton and Ms. Jascha Daquis from Malayan Colleges Mindanao, have been named winners of the Blackboard Catalyst Award in Asia for Optimising the Student Experience, which honours those institutions whose educational and administrative innovations have markedly improved the total learner experience. This includes their addressing of new and changing dynamics in fields such as student recruitment, financial aid, enrollment, retention and assessment, graduation, and beyond. The award ceremony took place at Blackboard’s annual Teaching and Learning Conference on 9 October, 2018.
Founded in 2005 by education technology leader Blackboard Inc., the annual Catalyst Awards recognise and honour innovation and excellence in the Blackboard global community of practice, where millions of educators and learners work every day to redefine what is possible when leveraging technology. Winners are selected by a cross-functional team of Blackboard experts.
