Davao City Water District and Rotary Club of Waling-Waling Davao (RCWWD) ceremoniously turned over a handwashing facility to Talomo Central Elementary School on February 8, 2024. This donation is part of DCWD’s Patubig sa Eskwela that helps schools and communities improve their water access.
With the handwashing facility, students, faculty, and staff will have improved water supply access for their water needs at school. This project is among of the many partnerships between DCWD and RCWWD in advocating for clean water, sanitation, and hygiene (WaSH) in communities.
DCWD Community Relations and External Affairs Department (CREAD) Manager Ruth G. Jabines led the DCWD team in the ceremonial turnover to the Talomo Central Elementary School faculty headed by Principal Vi-Cherry U. Ledesma with Rotary Club of Waling-Waling Davao (RCWWD) President Emmanouelle C. Zhang.
Patubig sa Eskwela is part of DCWD’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program under Sustainable Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WaSH). (Kurt Ryan M. Dominguez)
