For 50 years Davao City Water District has been using groundwater source to supply water to its customers.
To ensure water source sustainability for the Davaoeños and meet the growing water demand in Davao City, DCWD ventured into surface water source development through the Davao City Bulk Water Supply Project.
In December 2023, DCWD started the conjunctive use of both groundwater and surface water and improved the water supply availability, pressure, and quantity.
DCWD is dedicated to provide abundant, safe, and affordable water supply to the Davaoeños, from the source towards the tap.
DCWD continues to improve water supply availability and pressure and ensure water sustainability for the present and future generations.
