Davao City Water District obtained a recertification for ISO 9001:2015 for the ‘Provision of New Service Connection’, reaffirming its commitment to provide global-standard quality in water and other related services to ensure customer satisfaction.
This certification issued by Socotec Certification International was granted on December 6, 2024 with certification number SCP000578Q and is valid until December 19, 2027. Prior to this issuance, the certification body audited DCWD’s quality management system.
DCWD first received its ISO 9001:2015 certification on December 10, 2018 and has consistently maintained its certification since then.
DCWD General Manager Mildred G. Aviles commended the Commercial Services Department for their efforts and dedication to maintaining high-quality standards and improving operational efficiency.
As DCWD expands its service coverage, it will continue to refine its processes to proactively meet the needs of both existing and new customers, ensuring that the provision of water services remains reliable and of the highest quality. (Kianna Marie A. Mendoza)
