Davao City Water District advises the public of a water service interruption from 6:00PM of Friday, October 24, 2025 to 6:00AM of Saturday, October 25, 2025 affecting some Lanang and Sasa areas.
Specific affected areas to experience no water are Beach Side Homes, Villa de Davao Subd., Ramos Village, Lizada Village, Lanang Beach Club, Mountain Dew Village, Maryknoll Drive, Insular Village, West Insular Village, Vicente Pichon Subd., Azuela Cove, Lougemar Village, Marla Compound, Doña Aurelia Village, Hacienda Village, Doña Paz Subd., Doña Salud Subd., Parola, Pakiputan Wharf, Sasa Public Market, ICSAMA, Zones 1-5, Km. 9 and 10.
Affected areas to experience low water pressure are Nova Tierra Village and Fortune Executive Homes
Water supply has to be temporarily shut off in the affected areas to give way to the valve installation works along Insular Village in Lanang for the Samal Island-Davao City Connector Project.
The DCWD management asks for the understanding and cooperation of would-be-affected customers and advises them to store enough water prior to the schedule. Water supply may be restored earlier if DLPC’s works go smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.
DCWD conducts flushing after service works are completed. However, once water is restored, customers are advised to open all faucets and allow water to run for at least two minutes. While doing this, do not drink tap water immediately. Water may be boiled as an additional safety precaution.
