Globe, a premier telecommunications services provider in the Philippines, received an award of recognition at the 10th eServices Global Sourcing Conference and Exhibition for supporting eServices in the past 10 years.
Through Globe Business, it has been participating in eServices and co-presented the recently concluded 10th eServices Global Sourcing Conference and Exhibition held at SMX Convention Center.
The 2-day conference was organized by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), through the Center of International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM). More than 800 participants attended, including C-level executives from US, China, Japan, UK, Switzerland and Germany, government representatives, global thought leaders and local IT-BPO champions.
eServices is the largest IT-Enabled Services (ITES) sourcing event in Southeast Asia. The exhibit showcased the region’s ITES providers, while the conference featured notable industry experts as resource speakers. Her Excellency President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo also graced the event as the distinguished guest of honor.
This year’s theme – “Bright Skies Ahead: Collaborating for Smarter Business Solutions” – highlighted significant industry issues including the innovative solutions and services that business process outsourcing (BPO) companies are looking for in today’s marketplace.
Aside from co-presenting the event, Globe Business also provided WiFi, video conferencing and video streaming services to the participants and organizers. Globe Business also had a booth that featured relevant products and services to the IT-BPO companies, especially those moving to the Next Wave Cities.
