Globe Telecom emerged as the biggest winner of this year’s Philippine Quill Awards after bagging 16 citations for its communication initiatives and programs.
Globe received three Excellence awards for Kalinga sa Bayan (Community Relations), Globe Negostar Fair (Marketing Communications) and Globe Great Deals Catalogue and Globe Life Magazine (Publications).
Globe was also awarded with 13 Merit citations for Bangon Pinoy (Community Relations), Globe Store: The Blueprint of the Future (Media Relations, Special Events), Globe Cordillera Challenge (Media Relations, Multi-Audience Communication, Special Events, Graphic Design), Ka-Globe Jam (Special Events), Globe WiMAX Launches (Special Events), Lifeboats and Lifelines (Special Events), Globe Goes Green (Economic, Social and Environmental Program), ICON: The Globe Intranet (Electronic and Digital Communication) and Globe BridgeCom Booth (Graphic Design).

Organized by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Philippines, the Philippine Quill is the country’s most prestigious and relevant award for business communicators. Entries underwent a rigorous process based on set objectives that supported business goals and showed an understanding of the target audience; values that were measurable to one’s organization with a creative, effective communication effort; and measured outcome of the communication program as proof that it successfully achieved its stated goals. This year, IABC Philippines celebrates the 10th Philippine Quill Awards and awarded 103 Excellence and Merit citations.
