The urban landscape of Cebu is starting to change amid the growth of the multi-million dollar outsourced information and communications technology industry in the Philippines. Cebu City is poised to take on the demand for more offshore outsourced services as technology investors look to expand their operations outside the already-congested cities of Metro Manila.
The growth prospects of Cebu have also been identified by the Business Process Association of the Philippines (BPAP) and the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CITC).
