They say a cup of coffee is enough to warm one’s cold heart.
Maybe that’s one of the many reasons behind this infectious phenomena that is happening right now in just about every corner of the country. Millenials, Generation Z and X, the oldies alike — they all love coffee.
There’s no right or wrong time for them to sip their coffee. Morning, afternoon or evening is caffeine time. Either hot or cold brew, during sunny or rainy days.
Evident of this love and passion, and you may also say addiction, for this glorious bean was witnessed during the Philippine Coffee Expo 2022 held at SM Lanang Premier’s SMX Convention Center last September 14 to 15. Thousands of “coffee craze soldiers” gathered to enjoy the taste and aroma of the popular Philippine coffee varieties – the Robusta, Arabica, Excelsa, Liberica or the Barako – which were all showcased during the two-day event.
Safe to say, Pinoys nowadays are not only passionate of basketball and K-drama but coffee too. And for sure it’s not only a fad or a trend because all the indications say it’s here to stay.
