I was fortunate enough to be invited to the opening of the Samsung concept store by The A/V Room last May 21 at Chimes. I was particularly excited to go since they will be showcasing the latest technology in home entertaining and that is Samsung’s much anticipated 3D TV.
Lucky for me I got to the event early and was able to view a clip of the Black Eyed Peas performing in full 3D glory. Everything was crisp and clear, from the details of the costumes, to the crowd that was dancing to “Tonight’s Gonna Be a Good Night” the highlight of which was the shower of confetti in the show that made you feel as though you were at the concert itself.
As the night went on, the queues in front of the 3D TV grew as more and more urbanites lined up to experience what I believe will be the next wave of entertaining at home. Seriously, it is really difficult to describe the 3D experience unless you experience it yourself and I really would suggest that you drop by the Samsung Concept Store at Chimes and experience it yourself!
