CULINARY professionals representing their respective establishments and floral artists competed last June 16 at Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas for the professional category competitions of the Mindanao Culinary Festival 2010.
The following professionals emerged as the winners: TABLE SETTING (Wedding theme): Silver – Garden Oases (Niel Jun Barba, Alex Tumanda, Arnulfo P. Galado Jr.), Bronze – Linmarr Apartelle (Sheila Michelle Natano, Criselda Dedal, Airnaldo Leo), Diploma – St. Joseph Technical Academy (Jay Narangho, Sarah Jane Escalante, Candy Caryl Dabon), Diploma – Chateau del Mar (Letty Averion, Rodel Diaz, Archie Matuguiners); CENTERPIECE ARRANGEMENT: Silver – Noel Guillen, Bronze – Anecito Cesar (Apo View), Diploma – Faustino Pacardo.
For the Unilever Local Soo Pinoy Soo Davao Food Display competitions TUNA: Gold – Camp Holiday (Dinky Lacson), Silver – Villa Margarita (Victor Germo), Bronze – Paradise Island Nature Park and Beach Resort (Rodelio Martinez); TILAPIA: Gold – Paradise Island Nature Park and Beach Resort (Armando Perez), Silver – Garden Oases (Jessie Go), Bronze – Villa Margarita (Arlie Inocencio) and CHICKEN: Gold – Villa Margarita Hotel (Khelie Calde), Silver – Paradise Island Nature Park and Beach Resort (Lou A. Bacharda), Bronze – Camp Holiday (Dinky Lacson).
