For the nth time, food giant Jollibee Foods sponsors the Kids Scout Club Program this summer.
Just what a Jollibee Kids Scout Club is? The club is a group of loyal customers of Jollibee aged 4 to 12 organized “to spread kindness, happiness and fun to all” children and adults in communities where there are Jollibee outlets.
“Membership is open to all smart, adorable and energetic kids ages 4 to 12 years,” Jollibee Foods marketing senior officer Nelson Judaya told Davao reporters and lifestyle writers covering the “Kapehan sa Dabaw” media forum at SM City Davao last Monday.
5-day exposure
It is a five-day program held every summer, the best time for kids to meet new friends and other kids scout, Judaya said.
During the workshop kids will be “exposed to Jollibee’s values, mission and vision,” according to Judaya, who added that it will be “an opportunity for the kids to learn about Jollibee’s high food and service quality standards.”
Registration
A Jollibee kid scout will be entitled to a very colorful shirt and cap uniform, meals, workshop materials and certificate of attendance for a registration fee of P500.
Activities
During the 5-day program, the kids will be taught smile and greet customer relations, basic station activities, arts and crafts creative arts appreciation and solid waste management orientation, Judaya added.
5 batches
Jollibee will organize a total of five batches of Kids Scouts. This will be on April 4 to 8, April 11 to 15, April 25 to 29 and May 2 to 6.
Judaya said that the graduation day and general assembly of the estimated to be close to 1,000 kids scouts is slated on May 28 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the NCCC Mall –Matina activity area. [AMA]
