DLI celebrates October with a blast

Like the rest of the world, Damosa Land, Inc. joined the entire globe in celebrating the Oktoberfest. Damosa Land, Inc. has its peculiar way of celebrating the culmination of the month-long beer festival.
 More than 120 kids in their favorite cartoon character costume paraded in the newly refurbished Damosa Market Basket last October 31, 2015.
 Adorable kids aged ten and below, with their parents, exuberantly participated on the success of this year’s Funtastic Trick or treat.
 It was a fantastic day filled with fun activities and amazing surprises. All the kids were on their feet as the famous Disney cartoon, Mickey Mouse, exhibited his dance moves on stage. They were stunned with the remarkable bubble show and enjoyed the balloon twisting where they won various prizes. Delight reflected in their eyes as they were in awe with the amazing magic show.
 But, the highlight has yet to come. The kids projected with confidence and enjoyed the spotlight during the Parade of Costumes. Their supportive parents got hold of their cameras, ready to take a photo as they ramped on stage in their character costume carrying with them a unique basket while wearing their sweetest smiles.
 Twenty fascinating kids, 10 from the boy’s category and other 10 from the girls, were declared best in costume and 6 from each category won this year’s best Funtastic Trick or treat baskets.
 The fun did not end there. While carrying their unique and creative baskets, the kids knocked on the doors and gathered as much candies and chocolates from each establishment around Damosa Complex.
 Surely, the kids had a great time taking part on all of the activities of Funtastic Trick or treat while mingling with other kids and winning new friendships.
 This is the 8th year that DAMOSA Land, Inc. initiated this Funtastic Trick or Treat.
And as the day came to an end, amazing and superb costumes invaded Damosa Gateway.
 Cosplayers all over the city gathered and displayed inventiveness in personifying their favorite anime, manga, comic book, film, or online game character.
 Eleven talented cosplayers exhibited creativeness as they ramped on stage dressed up in their chosen character and owned the limelight as they gave their astonishing performances during the Cosplay Contest 2015 at Damosa Gateway.
 The contenders competed with their ingenious skills and artistry proving that they should be capped as this year’s DAMOSA Land Cosplayer!
 Mr. Jonas Capute as Tyrael from Diablo 3 never failed everyone’s expectation, He bested the other cosplayers this year. On the second spot was a fierce and sexy female barbarian played by Ms. Shynne Lao. And taking the third place was the three-year participant, since this event was realized, Ms. Lorie Mae Mintal as Light Farron (Requiem of Goddess). She amazed everyone with her artistic skills and performance.
 More than just a competition, Cosplay Contest 2015 was a perfect avenue to promote Davao’s Talent Artist through showmanship and creativeness.
 The event concluded with GAP 69’s rendition of famous love and various songs that lead everyone to a chill and relaxing night.
 Indeed, Oktoberfest 2015 was a blast! With all the fun-filled and exciting activities throughout the day, certainly each and everyone went home with a smile. Thus, DLI can’t wait to see you for the next year’s Funtastic Trick or treat and Cosplay Contest at Damosa Land.
