The holiday fever has hit Abreeza Mall, thanks to the annual Abreeza Christmas Launch and its spectacle of joyous sounds and dazzling sights.
Held on November 12, Abreeza Christmas Launch: A Yuletide Musical Ride featured Christmas melodies performed by award-winning contemporary a cappella group Acapellago, as well as local musicians Champ and the Band and Glee, an all-girl group from Muzic’s Kool.
Acapellago has bagged honors both locally and internationally, being a two-time Grand Champion of Akapela Open in the Philippines, Grand Champion of the A Cappella Championships (International Category) in Singapore in 2015, Grand Champion of the Aka Acapella VIII in Singapore in 2016, and first runner-up of the Vocal Asia competitions in Taiwan in 2016. At the Abreeza Christmas Launch, the crooners effortlessly combined heavenly harmonies with beatboxing to give a fresh twist to timeless carols and pop anthems. Now signed to Viva Records, they also gave the audience a live sampling of their recently released single “Pero Plano” and their rendition of the trending hit “Tatlong Bibe.”
As is tradition at Abreeza Mall, the Christmas tree, this time located at the Christmas Village at the Ground Floor Hallway, was lit up during the Christmas Launch. Decked out with golden lamps, towering trees, and other Christmas symbols, the magnificent installation designed by T’nalak Home is a gleeful reminder that the most wonderful time of the year is here.
The Abreeza Christmas Launch also encouraged the spirit of giving among its guests by introducing the scholars of HERO (Help, Educate, and Rear Orphans) Foundation, Inc., a non-profit group that aims to give educational assistance to the children of Filipino soldiers killed in action. A donation box is at the Main Concierge for customers who would like to donate, while corporations are also invited to support the HERO Foundation’s efforts by approaching the concierge staff for more details.
Keeping up the holiday frenzy at Abreeza Mall is the mall-wide Pre-Christmas Sale on November 13 to 19, where merchants offer discounts of up to 70% off. Furthermore, from November 17 to 19, Abreeza Mall gives shoppers more time to complete their gift lists with extended mall hours of up to 10pm. This early Christmas blowout allows shoppers to get a headstart on their Christmas spending and bypass the December rush.
