The Arcadia Active Lifestyle Center turned into a freakish funhouse with hints of fashion as kids took over the runway on Halloween weekend.
Sunday’s Spooktacular Runway 2018 event–Arcadia’s first dig at Halloween partying–was beyond the ordinary and frightfully fantastic. Kids dressed as witches and wizards, ghosts and ghouls, fairies and superheroes and all freakish figures beyond imagination took to the ramp in a festive family-themed event.
Arcadia staged the Halloween costume Party for kids to encourage interaction among children and positively promote creativity, camaraderie and friendly competition through winner-reward approach. Spicing up the event were side treats like face painting, magic show and parlor games. The party won’t be complete too without the Halloween food concoctions created by Arcadia’s team of chefs.
The winners of the costume competitions are Mr. Ontoy in police costume with a police car to boot for the boys category while Ms. Gutierrez in Samurai attire won the girls side. They received access to Arcadia Pool for five people and merienda treat for five from The Lobby Cafe by Arcadia.
A huge turnout came for the party numbering to some 560 in all including children of Davao City Mayor Inday Sara Duterte-Carpio who came in Marvel Superheroes get-up.
