Of Food and Culture: Flavours of Mindanao

To say they we, Filipinos, love to shop is truly an understatement. Even on special days, we consider malls to be epitome of happiness — from morning until night. And SM Supermalls had made malling and shopping for us Filipinos more fun 365 days.

“Malls in the Philippines have a different kind of magic as they bring friends and families together. With that, SM continues to serve as venue for meaningful experiences in shopping, dining, leisure and entertainment. Our campaign ups the fun, food and festivities in all our malls. We are excited for more fun malling experiences to unfold in the coming months,” SM Lanang Premier mall manager Lester Tantoco said during the launching of Malling is More Fun in the Philippines campaign last Friday, 25 May 2019, at the SM Lanang Premier.

Launching last 17 May at the SM Megamall Fashion Hall (Mandaluyong City), Malling is More Fun in the Philippines aims to encourage patrons, locals and visitors to explore the many shopping malls we have in the country.

Malling Is More Fun In The Philippines is SM Supermalls’ partnership campaign with the Department of Tourism (DOT).

DOT Asec. Roberto Alabado III further emphasized our love for the malls and shopping “Shopping is also a tourism product”, he said. “SM’s 72 malls around the country have become destinations,” he added.
