A global energy solutions leader envisions the Philippines to become a sustainable and self-generating in energy production by having every households and small-to-medium enterprises an affordable and efficient solar panels.
On Friday, Straight Arrow Technologies Inc. launched Trinahome, a complete ‘all in one’ solar system, a first of its kind in the Philippines.
Straight Arrow Chairman and CEO Dominic Dexon So said that their company saw the need to introduce a renewal energy sourcing to residential areas.
“We wanted to introduce this, at the same time, to educate the people of Davao,” So said in an interview during the launching at the SM Lanang Premier.
Trinahome is a photovoltaic (PV) system designed to transform residential rooftop into an electrical power generator platform to supply to household electrical load.
Among the system kits provided are modules, inverter, grid-box, mounting structures and cables that are guaranteed to provide a storage up to 10 kilowatts, depending on the standard configuration availed by the clients.
He also said that they officially targeted the launch of the product in Davao City for Trinahome’s first distribution in the Philippines, saying the city has a “big market advantage”.
So also said that Trinahome is cost efficient and guarantees lower electricity bills, as proven in their rigorous reliability test throughout the years.
“People don’t want to spend P200,000 to P300,000 on solar panels that would only break after five years,” he added, “We assure that people would expect our product to last for a lifetime.”
Moreover, Trinahome endeavors its clients to gear towards clean energy, as solar panel is a suitable renewable energy source in the country.
“It is a very good way of trying to adapt towards climate change, considering the problem of pollution in the Philippines,” So said.
Aside from the residential areas, the company also provides energy solutions for industrial companies, even providing grid-like systems enough to generate power for the entire city.
