Davao City Water District advises of a water service interruption on November 14, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM affecting some areas served by Tugbok Water Supply System to give way to service improvement works.
Affected areas are portion of Brgy. Mintal (San Francisco Street, Jasmine Street, Napolcom, and Small Village), entire Bago Oshiro and the road from junction of UP Road to Bago Oshiro, and portion of Bago Gallera (Bago Gallera Settlers Assn. or BAGASA, Kopai Village, Sitio Saka, and the road from junction of Libby Road to Sitio Saka).
DCWD needs to temporarily shut off water supply in the affected areas to give way to the tapping and looping of the newly installed pipeline to the existing pipelines for the mainline improvement at Purok 1 Brgy. Bago Oshiro to Purok 10, Jasmine Street in Mintal. Once completed, the project will allow for accommodation of additional service connections.
On behalf of the DCWD management, general manager Engr. Edwin V. Regalado asks for the understanding and cooperation of would-be affected customers and advises them to store enough water prior to the schedule. Water supply may be restored earlier if work goes smoothly or later if unforeseen problems arise.
The general public may visit DCWD website (www.davao-water.gov.ph) and official Facebook page (www.facebook.com/davaowater) or call the Central Information Unit / Call Center through the 24-hour hotline 297-DCWD (3293) and press “1” on their phone dial for the latest daily water updates. Contact 0927-7988966, 0925-5113293, and 0908-4410653 for other updates, complaints, queries, and matters pertaining to DCWD services. (Katrina Belen M. Roble)
