Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct two 45-minute power interruptions on October 6, Tuesday, affecting customers in some parts of its Davao del Norte franchise area.
These service disruptions will be necessary to facilitate relocation of poles at Lucutan Bridge 1 and 2 affected by the DPWH road widening project.
To avoid longer duration of power interruptions, load from the affected lines will be transferred to nearby lines anytime between 12:00 a.m. to 1:00 am.. Normalization or return of load back to its normal set-up will be anytime between 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m..
Specifically affected are customers in Carmen, Tubod, Malitbog, Manay, Upper and Lower Mabuhay, Dalisay, Tebongol,Tibulaw, Paradise Imbac, Paquibato Proper, Kasilak, New Aklan, Consolacion, Malatibas San Roque, Fatima, Malabog, Panalum, Kiblawan, Kasilak and neighboring areas.
Also affected are customers in DAPECOL, Alejal, Magsaysay, Cabili, Ising Carmen, Tanglao, Dapco Checkered Farms, Diamond Farm, including Marsman NAPCO, La Liberrtad, Casigang, SanMiguel, Dujali, Kinamayan, Balisong, Salvacion, Esperanza, San Vicente, Magupisong, Mabaos Bubungon, Balagunan,Sindatun, Lower Panaga and neighboring areas.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
