Santo Tomas Mayor Ernesto Evangelista and Davao del Norte Governor Edwin Jubahib recently broke ground for the construction of Infirmary Hospital in Barangay Casig-ang, Santo Tomas, Davao del Norte.
The 25-bed capacity Infirmary Hospital was a fulfillment of Evangelista-Jubahib’s campaign promise of affordable, and accessible healthcare for all Tomasinos. Joining them are ABC President and Barangay Tibal-og Ricky Inodioan, Municipal Administrator Atty. Elisa Evangelista Lapina, including provincial, municipal, and barangay officials who also took part and witnessed the groundbreaking ceremony.
Meanwhile, CWS Partylist or Construction Workers Partylist 2nd nominee Melanie Joy Momo-Guno pledged P20-million soft fund for the initial operations of the Infirmary Hospital.
This as the Evangelista administration aims to expand the hospital services of the Infirmary Hospital by sourcing out more funds on top of the funding that will be given by incumbent Provincial Board member Atty. Jigs Relampagos.
