Win or lose, vice presidential bet Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio confirmed that her team will be conducting an online thanksgiving for all the supporters and the UniTeam’s campaign team, which will start on May 10, 2022.
“Manalo man tayo o matalo, we prepared an online thanksgiving para sa lahat ng mga tumulong and sa lahat ng gustong makapagpasalamat sa team sa kampanya. Tomorrow, magsismula na ang aking pasasalamat sa mga tao na tumulong and we have scheduled per group na meeting to personally say thank you sa kanila. It will start tomorrow May 10 hanggang Friday,” the mayor said in an interview.
The mayor said she and her team are scheduled to fly to the headquarters of Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD) in Manila on Tuesday to personally thank the people and the support group for their contribution and help during the campaign.
“Nag-schedule din kami ng iba’t ibang mga grupo na kailangan kong pasalamatan,” she said.
Mayor Sara also said that a gift-giving will be conducted also for the less fortunate in the depressed areas in Davao City as a way of saying thank you.
“Whether manalo o matalo naka-schedule na yung gift-giving sa mga depressed areas and less fortunate natin na mga constituents dito sa Davao City and there will be a thanksgiving sa mga leaders for Davao City,” she said.
Meanwhile, Mayor Sara vowed to be a supportive and loyal vice president to her running mate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr, if he wins the presidential race.
“I will be a supportive and loyal VP to Apo BBM if he wins at kung hindi naman natin kasama o ka-alyado ang mananalo na pangulo I will still continue to work for our country,” she said.
The mayor also said her team has already prepared peace-building activities and activities that promote child protection in the schools.
