Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte scored the highest trust and approval and ratings among the top 4 officials in the country, according to the latest Pulse Asia survey.
Vice President Duterte got a trust rating of 78 percent and approval rating of 74 percent.
The survey conducted from December 3 to 7, 2023 showed the vice president’s approval rating increased by one percentage point compared with her 73 percent approval score in September 2023.
A similar survey also showed that her trust rating also went up three points at 78 percent compared with the 75 percent in September 2023.
The vice president got the very high ratings amid criticism from the opposition.
Meanwhile, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. finished second behind Duterte with 68 percent and 73 percent approval and trust ratings, respectively.
Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri got 49 percent approval rating and 51 percent trust rating. Speaker Martin Romualdez scored the lowest approval rating among the four officials at 39 percent.
The survey was participated by 1,200 adults aged 18 years old and above. It has a ± 2.8 percemt error margin at the 95 percent confidence level.
