Senator Imee Marcos on Sunday expressed sadness about the alleged conflict inside the Uniteam, the political coalition of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice President Sara Duterte in the 2022 elections.

The senator revealed this amid controversies and issues thrown towards the President and Vice President.

Sana tuloy tuloy, may solid north at solid south.

Former president Rodrigo Duterte alleged that the President is a drug addict, while his son, Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte, blasted and called for the President’s resignation during a leaders’ forum against the People’s Initiative (PI) in Davao City in January 2024.

The vice president, on her part, was also embroiled in controversies which began with allegations of misuse of her confidential funds.

“Sa gulo ngayon si VP Sara naiipit din, may trabaho siya, kasi in effect she is part of the official family of the President kasi cabinet member siya. Kami nahihirapan kasi mahal namin ang dalawang panig,” the senator said.

Marcos assured that despite controversies, her friendship with the vice president is not affected.
