Former councilor of Davao City Danny Dayanghirang commended Davao City First District Representative Paolo “Pulong” Duterte for being instrumental in the implementation of the projects in Davao City.
In his YouTube channel “Ang Ganda ng Pilipinas,” Dayanghirang explained how government projects are being implemented and how Rep. Pulong helped make these projects realized.
Dayanghirang said it is not easy to pass projects and with all the requirements of the law to ensure that the proposed project will be included in the listing of the budget and will be endorsed.
He explained that all congressmen have their allocation but to some extent if they want to help in other areas especially if they have influence based on the regulation on the recommendation of the city, municipal council, Regional Development Council (RDC), and National Economic Development Authority (NEDA).
He said this is where the money of the Congress goes.
He said Rep. Pulong is among those who help big in the implementation of the projects not only in Davao City but Davao Region as well like roads (Davao-Bukidnon, Davao-Paquibato, Paquibato connecting the three districts of the city as well as Davao del Norte and Davao del Sur).
“Gusto kong sabihin na dito sa Lungsod ng Dabaw when former president Duterte took over andaming projects na binigay at isa sa mga tumutulong dito ay si Cong. Pulong Duterte,” Dayanghirang said.
He also cited the modern Agdao Public Market in Davao City which was implemented with the help of Rep. Pulong.
Dayanghirang emphasized budget will not be released if it does not undergo proper procedure.
“That is why itong mga tinatanong na projects tungkol sa Davao, particularly sa tulong ni Cong. Pulong Duterte, napakarami, because whether we like it or not, ay meron siyang access din like anybody sa pag-allocate bilang congressman. Yung mga sinasabing projects saan na napunta, ayan yung projects may listahan yan. Not only Davao City, buong Pilipinas, lahat ng congressmen may listahan yan. Lahat ng mayors may listing yan,” he added.
