The regional office of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE 11) announced on Thursday that 4,370 job vacancies are up grabs in the upcoming 2024 Kalayaan Job Fair at Gaisano Mall of Davao in celebration of the 126th Independence Day on June 12, 2024.
DOLE 11 senior labor and employment officer Jennelyn Sanchez said the job fair will be participated by 44 local and overseas employers.
Sanchez said the online pre-registration was opened as early as June 2. As of Thursday, there have been 682 pre-registered applicants.
“We are expecting that this number will increase as we approach June 12. The pre-registration portal is still open even during the job fair. They can still pre-register,” Sanchez said during the I-speak media forum.
List of local job vacancies includes boiler operator, refrigeration aircon technician, liquid line operator, accounting staff, cream filling machine operator, farm laborer, audit staff, IT assistant, machine operator, construction laborer, assistant secretary, and HR assistant, mason, product manager, sales representative, corporate sales, technical support, delivery helper, accounting clerk, processing assistant, customer service representative, software developer, salesperson, regulatory pharmacists, and salesman.
