Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte said on Friday evening that he and Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go have already talked following his challenge to the senator to stand against tyranny.
The mayor added that’s how politics is and should not be taken lightly.
“Oo ug nag istorya mi. Pulitika lang man na and wala ma’y need na kailangan imong dibdibon. We were talking about katong giingon nako, statement nako sa Maisug rally sa Pampanga. Pulitika, kung dili ka kaantos ani, undang na lang. Ana ba. Mao man gyud ni ang kinabuhi sa usa ka politiko or elected official na naa sa gobyerno. Wala koy problema niya (Go) and I believe that was a fair comment,” the mayor told the media.
This developed after Duterte expressed disappointment during the recent Hakbang ng Maisug rally in Angeles City, Pampanga, at Go’s silence about the ongoing issues against the Dutertes and Davao City.
Go’s said “there is a time for everything” in answer to the mayor’s tirade.
Recently, Duterte challenged Go to stand now against tyranny.
“There is time a time for everything and the time is now to stand against tyranny Mr. Bong Go. Sige ra kag selfie nga naay ayuda ginahatag and if not selfie ana akong amahan kay gamiton nimo for publicity. Wala kay imohang ikabarog nga kaugalingong pulitika? Read your own caption and reflect if you are really actually doing what you are saying. Pussy!” the mayor posted on his Facebook account.
