The security cluster conducted a walk-through on Monday at the session hall of the Sangguniang Panlungsod for Mayor Sebastian “Baste” Duterte’s second State of the City Address (SOCA) on Tuesday.
The walk-through at the newly-refurbished session hall was led by Public Safety and Security Office (PSSO) head Angel Sumagaysay, together with Captain Narciso Potot Jr., Officer of the Day at Sta. Ana Police Station under the supervision of Major Emmanuel Manlatican, Acting Station Commander.
The activity was also attended by the police personnel of Sta. Ana Police Station, Bureau of Fire Protection-Davao (BFP-Davao), Task Force Davao, Coast Guard Southern Mindanao, Civil Security Unit (CSU), and City Information Office.
Meanwhile, Captain Hazel Tuazon, Spokesperson of the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), said that 208 police personnel will be deployed during the mayor’s SOCA, which will be composed of the police personnel of Sta. Ana Police Station, DCPO headquarters personnel, Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT), City Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Canine Unit (CECU), City Intelligence Unit-DCPO (CIU-DCPO), and Criminal Investigation And Detection Group-Davao (CIDMU-Davao).
Tuazon said the police personnel will be deployed to ensure security and safety inside and outside of the SP building.
