The Ecoland Police Station-Drug Enforcement Unit in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency 11 (PDEA 11) arrested 10 drug personalities in Purok 5-A, Brgy. 23-C, Davao CIty on Sunday evening.
The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) claimed the operation as “one-time, big-time” apprehension of drug personalities in an anti-illegal drug operation.
“Kani ang pinaka daghan nga nadakpan sa isa ka buybust operation lang,” Capt. Hazel Caballero Tuazon, spokesperson of DCPO, told Edge Davao.
Based on the report, authorities conducted a buy-bust operation at Masardan residence that resulted in the apprehension of the suspects only identified as Marvin alias “Dol”, 43, “Raymond”, 36, “Tenneson”, 35, “Mahmud”, 21, “Lester”, 28, “Edzelson”, 25, “Nelson”, 33, “Zhyrik”, 22, “Analiza”, 53, and “Floramae”, 34. All residents of Purok 5-A, Brgy. 23-C Isla Verde, Davao City.
Ecoland Police Station also reported that seized from the possession of the suspects were three pieces of elongated shape heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, one piece square shaped heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, one piece improvised aluminum foil strip used as “bangka,” one genuine 500 peso bill bearing serial no. AW6064641, two pieces printed 500 peso boodle money, one unit Huawei android phone, two pieces disposable lighter (color blue with improvised needle and color yellow), and one piece improvised aluminum foil used as tooter.
The station added that suspected seized drug items have a standard drug price of P348,160.
The suspects are currently under the custody of Ecoland Police Station.
