Province of Cotabato Governor Emmylou “Lala” Mendoza on Tuesday turned over five projects worth P36,562,834.86 in various barangays of Makilala, Cotabato.
The governor handed over funds for the road concreting projects in Barangay Kawayanon worth P9,990,101.73, in Barangay Bulacan worth P9,989,977.56 and P9,593,000.55 in Barangay Katipunan.
Mendoza also turned over P4,994,803.10 to Bulacanon Central Elementary School for a covered court project while P1,994,951.92 was extended to Jose Rizal High School in Barangay Jose Rizal for the completion of its existing covered court.
The governor reminded the beneficiaries/recipients and the barangay officials to take care of the projects granted to them as they are partners of the provincial government in promoting programs in their respective communities.
Mendoza thanked the local government of Makilala led by Mayor Armando Quibod for its support of her flagship program, the “Serbisyong Totoo.”
“Serbisyong Totoo empowers people,” Mendoza said.
In his message, Bulacanon Barangay Chairman Remegio de Guzman expressed his heartfelt appreciation to Gov. Mendoza and wished for her continued service to the Cotabateños.
